Here's a list of this month's performers, along with where you can see them next:
- Adair Gilliam (who made an impressive #TCTheater debut in Waitress at Artistry this spring) - "I don't know if I'm allowed to say this but I will," Artistry's October production of Once on this Island
- Danny McHugh (a Minnesota native recently returned from 16 years in NYC - bad news for them and good news for us) - playing the Gene Kelly role in Singin' in the Rain at Artistry, opening at the end of this month.
- Ann Michels (long time #TCTheater favorite) - reprising her role as Betty in White Christmas at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, opening in October (get your tickets now! seriously, this will sell out and it's a delight)
- T Mychael Rambo (a beloved #TCTheater vet who was everybody's biggest cheerleader) - performing as part of Illusion Theater's "LIVE at Lyndale Gardens" outdoor summer concert series, July 16 only
- Drew Reynhout (only a year into deciding to give this theater thing a try, with a promising future) - in both The Music Man and Big Fish at Lyric Arts this summer/fall
- Dayle Theisen (who recently burst onto the #TCTheater scene as Sandy in Grease at the Chan) - continuing in Grease through October 4 and then jumping right into White Christmas
the band:
- Isabella Dawis (music director and keys) - performing with local band Kiss the Tiger
- Kyle Baker (bass) - playing in the beeeuuutiful on-stage orchestra in the Guthrie's stunning production of Cabaret, through August 24
- Beth Varela (drums) - drumming at lots of places, including Sturgis
our host (who is extra fun when the kitchen is closed but the bar is open):
- Max Wojtanowicz - directing Minneapolis Musical Theatre's concert version of the rarely done Sondheim musical Anyone Can Whistle, and performing in Treasure Island at Children's Theatre Company, both opening in September

We also got a fabulous preview of Burnsville Summer Theatre's production of The Prom - if you are anywhere near the southern metro between July 24 and August 2, go see this! And we learned about a new podcast that sounds like a must-listen for musical theater nerds: The Little Things You Hear Together that dives deep into cast recordings.
They also gave away a bunch of free tickets - every $5 donation gets you a raffle ticket. This month's winners get to see:
Anytime you go to Musical Mondays it's fun, entertaining, educational, and community building. But when T Mychael Rambo is there, who is a gift to this world that you should make any effort to see anytime you can, it's even more so. He talked about teaching kids confidence through the song "I Believe I Can Fly," which instilled confidence in everyone in the room, and gifted us with this inspirational and very timely James Baldwin quote: "Not everything you face can be changed, but nothing can be changed until you face it." And it's even better if we face it together, and maybe with singing.
